| Scout shirt The Khaki Boy Scout
shirt comes in long and short sleeve. I suggest getting the short
sleeve shirt. |
 |
| Shoulder loops The loops
come in different colors depending on your position in the scouting
organization. Purchase the red Boy Scout Shoulder loops. The red loops
signify a Boy Scout. These loops fit over the shoulder Epaulets. |
 |
| Shoulder patch The only place to
purchase a Grand Canyon Council shoulder patch is at a local Scout
shop. See the links at the bottom of this page for the locations of
Arizona scout shops. This patch is place on the left arm just below
the seam. |
 |
| Unit Number
The unit number for our troop is 222. A single patch with the
number 222 can be special ordered, or you can get three single Number
2 patches and sew them together. This patch is placed 1/4 inch below
the Council shoulder patch. |

| Scout belt
This is the only belt that can be worn with the boy scout uniform.
Be sure to get the tan colored belt. The blue one is for Cub Scouts. |
 |
| Scout Hat
This is optional, but is handy on sunny days. |
 |
| Scout Socks The official BSA
socks are a required item for the uniform. Especially if you will be
wearing the scout shorts. |
 |
| Neckerchief slide The
neckerchief slide keeps the neckerchief in place. You can purchase the
official BSA slide or a troop 222 slide. The slides get lost easily,
so a second slide is handy. |
 |
| Scout Pants The scout pants come
in either long or shorts. Either are acceptable, but you may want both
depending on the weather. |
 |
| Neckerchief -
Provided by the Troop! The troop 222 neckerchief is one
of a kind. This will be provided to each scout. |
 |
| World Scout Emblem This patch is
required on all scout uniforms. This patch is placed on the front
left hand side of the uniform halfway between the shoulder seam and
the top of the pocket. |
